Everyone involved in promoting their business will need to come to grips with the fact that issuing a press release is critical to success. The great thing is, media outlets across the UK really do want your stories as it is free content for them! The caveat is, they must be written correctly as “informative” and not as a thinly disguised “advert”.

You have a “good news” story about your organisation that you’d like to send out to the media but the problem is, the majority of press releases submitted, are quickly deleted by the recipients – primarily due to poor writing or failure to capture interest. This course will show your the right way to write a press release and how to ‘pitch’ your story to a magazine or online news portal.
