March 12, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Increase staff profitability by effectively handling conflict and problems in the workplace. With the skills learned in this half-day conflict management course, conflict can be managed effectively and greatly reduce the risk of negative impact that conflict can bring.
Your staff will identify conflict at the ‘disagreement’ stage, before it escalates and then address the issues with a resolution that is healthy for both parties. They will also learn from conflicts, and have a plan to prevent them happening again.
This conflict management workshop includes case studies, discussions, and interactive exercises along with ample opportunity to practice so at the end of the day delegates are confident in managing conflict.
Delegates are invited to complete an individual assessment about their preferred conflict management style. They will then receive personalised feedback, including specific conflict management tips that match their personality.
By the end of the day, delegates will:
- Identify conflicts early on prior to escalation.
- Identify their own preferred conflict management style, strengths and limitations
- Confidently resolve conflicts with both colleagues and customers.
- Resolve conflict situations between colleagues and clients.
Managing Conflict Effectively is a job requirement for nearly every person but is essential for Managers and HR Professionals. This conflict management course will equip you to meet the challenges of complex personalities on your workforce.
These skills are valuable for managers, HR and Personnel professionals, or staff tasked with bringing a team of different personalities together to work effectively and meet deadlines.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided and delegates will be awarded the Chamber of Commerce Certificate of Completion at the conclusion of this course.
The Chamber will run this course three times in 2020: 12th March, 9th July, and 24th November.
This conflict management course directly follows the morning course “Assertiveness Training : Developing Assertiveness Skills” as part of a back-to-back day of Leadership/Communications training from the Chamber.
