A second round of applications is now open for the Blackpool Business Recovery Fund, a grant scheme set up to help Blackpool businesses impacted by COVID lockdown restrictions.
The Fund is on top of the non-discretionary grants paid to ratepaying non-essential retail, hospitality and leisure businesses currently required to close during lockdown, it offers targeted grant support to many businesses who are ineligible for existing grants.
This latest round invites applications from a range of new business sectors, including those impacted by the stay at home policy and travel bans, including daytime takeaways, local convenience stores, travel trade operators, kennels and catteries, driving instructors, coach operators, and a wide range of creative industries. It will also provide additional support to taxi drivers.
Larger leisure and accommodation businesses with multiple venues can reapply, and smaller tourism supply chain businesses can apply for the first time.
Full details of the grants available and the eligibility criteria can be found in the Grant Allocation Policy which is available herePlease read this important document before making an application.
Applications for the second round of the Blackpool Business Recovery Fund go live from 3pm on Monday 15 March 2021 and will close at midnight on Wednesday 31 March 2021.
