As part of our Brexit service designed to help companies in North & Western Lancashire deal with the difficulties after the end of the transition from the E.U. we are offering a series of introduction sessions.
Delivered by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce international trade team, in partnership with Boost; Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub, the fully funded service is part of the comprehensive information and advisory service we offer to businesses involved in importing and exporting.
In addition to our successful series of workshops on Rules of Origin, INCOTERMS and Import/Export procedures by request we have added three more introductory session. These will be run as a triple header:

09.00 a.m. – 10.00 a.m.– RULES OF ORIGIN – SUPPLY CHAIN
Following on our earlier session on rules of origin we will look at the effects this is having on supply chains. We will also look at and explain long-term suppliers’ declarations.
10.15 a.m. – 11.15 a.m. – E.U. VAT / TRIANGULATION
Many people are asking about the fundamentals of applying for VAT registration in E.U. states and supply of goods between member states by U.K. companies we will talk you through the challenges.
11.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. – NORTHERN IRELAND
The status of Northern Ireland and how to deal with sending goods to the province is still causing concerns, we will explain the Trader Support Service and the status of the province.
