Blackpool-based businesses can ‘meet the neighbours’ at a networking event organised by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
It takes place at the Chamber’s Fylde Coast office, 1 Lockheed Court, Amy Johnson Way, Blackpool, on Tuesday, March 29 (4pm-6pm) and is an excellent opportunity for traders to get to know each other and create opportunities for future business.
The event will also welcome Rob Green, Blackpool Fylde & Wyre EDC’s Head of Enterprise and Investment, for an update on the new Enterprise Zone launched at the Squires Gate Business Estate, Blackpool.
Also in attendance will be Stephen Chalcraft, a principal lawyer from the commercial real estate team of Slater & Gordon, one of the Chamber’s patron members, to talk about how the public sector can engage to create more effective Enterprise Zones.
Mr Chalcraft leads the team, focusing on regeneration and development, as well acting for both the public and the private sector and specialising in both complex development and regeneration schemes.
Following the session, Mr Chalcraft will be available for anyone who has any general questions or who wishes to have a one-to-one conversation.
“Our networking events are always an excellent opportunity for companies to meet each other, find out what they do and possibly discuss working together in future,” said Babs Murphy, the Chamber’s Chief Executive.
“This one promises to be another interesting evening for those who attend, not just for the chance to meet other companies but also to hear about the Enterprise Zone.”
All are welcome and it is free to attend but guests must register beforehand.
There is also the chance to take out some exhibition space at the event but this must be booked early.
The cost for exhibiting is: £50 plus VAT for Chamber members; £60 plus VAT for affiliate members; and £70 plus VAT for non-members.
