What would your business like to see in the Budget?
Published: 03/07/26
As the Government begins preparing for the next Budget, the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce is working closely with its Policy Committees to develop a comprehensive submission outlining the priorities and concerns of businesses across our region.
The Chamber will feed these views into the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) national consultation process, ensuring that the voice of Lancashire businesses is represented in discussions with Government. In addition, we will make our own direct submission to HM Treasury, highlighting the issues that matter most to local employers and the opportunities we believe should be prioritised to support business growth and economic prosperity.
This is an important opportunity for Chamber members to help shape the policies that affect their organisations. We are keen to hear your views on a wide range of issues, including taxation, business rates, skills and workforce development, infrastructure, transport, energy costs, regulation, international trade, investment incentives and any other measures you believe should be included in the next Budget.
We invite all members to share their thoughts, recommendations and priorities for incorporation into our submission. By contributing your insights, you can help ensure that Government understands the challenges facing businesses and the practical actions needed to support growth, investment and job creation.
