The Home Office updated the immigration rules which included changes to the Skilled Worker route to reduce net migration by:

• raising the general salary threshold from £26,200 to £38,700
• bringing salary requirements for individual occupations in line with median pay for resident workers in those occupations
• replacing the Shortage Occupation List with a new Immigration Salary List

The UK government’s eVisa webpage has been updated to reflect the latest information on the eVisa roll out. The Home Office has produced factsheets and important information for employers available here.
