Preston’s Business Improvement District has launched their annual General Public Survey for 2018.

The survey, which captures the thoughts and opinions of over 1,000 people visiting the city centre, began in 2010 and assists the BID in preparing its annual activity plan.

Visitors are being asked to spare a couple of minutes of their time to share their thoughts on a multitude of topics including: shopping, leisure, travel, vibrancy and safety.

Mark Whittle from Preston BID said: ‘The BID has regular dialogue with businesses to shape the work we do on their behalf.  In order for the city centre to continue to grow and improve, it’s vital that we take a sounding from our visitors too.  The feedback gathered from the 2018 survey will assist us, and other city centre stakeholders, in ensuring Preston remains an attractive place to visit, work and invest’.

Results from the 2017 General Public Survey showed an unprecedented number of people from outside of Preston, chose to visit to enjoy the city’s leisure and retail offer.

Over 80% of those who completed the 2017 survey stated that BID’s campaigns and events were of significant value to the city centre.

The survey, which is now live will open until Friday 1st June 2018.
