The Engineering Industry Advisory Board (EIAB) provides strategic advice and guidance to ensure that Blackpool and The Fylde College’s engineering curriculum, research, and engagement activities remain relevant to industry needs.

The Blackpool Airport Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) is a structured forum that provides an opportunity for the exchange of information between the airport (as represented by its owners, the management and the various disparate operations which comprise the airport) and external interested parties.

Boost is Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub, one of 37 Growth Hubs in the UK. It is led by Lancashire County Council and has supported over 14,000 businesses, helped create over 3,500 jobs while adding over £100m to the economy since 2013.

It acts as a formal forum for sharing intelligence, discussing crime prevention, and strengthening partnership work to tackle offenses affecting firms.
