In today’s competitive UK retail market, what separates thriving stores from struggling ones isn’t just location or product — it’s people. Retailers investing in staff training are seeing higher conversion rates, better customer retention, and lower costs. When your team is equipped with the right skills — from digital tools to sales techniques — they turn browsers into loyal buyers.
Thanks to a brand new, custom designed package for retailers, the ‘Retail Renaissance Programme’ will help transform your retail business, through expert-led sessions, designed to future-proof your operations and boost your bottom line!
WHO’S IT FOR?
The Retail Renaissance Programme is open to any high street retail business. Whether your a retail service, or sell physical products, you’re invited to benefit from participation. It’s fully funded, there’s nothing for you to pay, thanks to funding from the UK government, Boost, and Lancashire County Council, and is valued at £3,000 per place!
WHY BOOK?
Whether you’re looking to build your brand online, enhance customer experience, or increase sales, this programme delivers the how and why from retail experts who understand your challenges and can support you to unlock your potential. We’d strongly encourage participants to attend all elements of the programme (which also gives you official certification), but you can also attend individual sessions too.
WHY TRAINING IS KEY IN TODAY’S RETAIL CLIMATE
Boost Conversion and Sales
Trained staff better understand products, handle objections, and close more sales.
E.g. fashion retail staff trained in upselling can increase basket sizes by 15–30%.
Enhance Customer Experience
Employees with communication, empathy, and product knowledge retain customers.
High service quality = return visits + positive reviews.
Drive Operational Efficiency
Staff trained in the effective utilisation of tech systems reduce errors and waste.
Training in profit maximisation can cut shrinkage significantly.
Reduce Staff Turnover
Investing in development boosts morale and loyalty.
Lower recruitment costs and a stronger brand culture.
Enable Innovation and Agility
Teams trained in data use, AI tools, or sustainability practices, can adapt quickly to trends and tech changes.
