3D printer maker, Ultimaker International Ltd, has signed up to become a patron of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
The firm, which has a base in Chorley, has stepped up its involvement with the Chamber by becoming a patron, which gives it a greater influence on policy, as well as raising its profile in the local area.
“We were delighted when Ultimaker agreed to become patron members this year,” said Babs Murphy, the Chamber’s Chief Executive.
“Their 3D printers are the most reliable tool to bring prototypes and functional models to life within a short space of time.
“They are a company which has made a sustained contribution to the county’s economic strength and development.”
“We are proud to call ourselves Chamber members and, as a result, had no hesitation in becoming patron members,” added Mick Mayor, Director of Ultimaker International Ltd.
“The Chamber does valuable work on behalf of all local firms; the number of services they provide to members offer the best possible grounding for a successful career in business.
“I’m sure I speak for many when I thank them for their efforts and congratulate them on reaching such a momentous milestone.”
The Chamber’s patron package is offered to businesses that want to demonstrate a strong commitment to working as a key partner with the Chamber to support local businesses and is the most exclusive business opportunity the Chamber provides.
Other patrons of the Chamber include Slater & Gordon as well as Preston’s College.
