One of Preston’s leading accountancy firms has raised hundreds of pounds for a local homeless charity with a raffle and coffee morning.
Rotherham Taylor Limited raised a total of £330 for its charity of the year, The Foxton Centre, with these activities.
Guests at the coffee morning, which was held recently at the firm’s offices, heard from Jeff Marsh, CEO of The Foxton Centre and James, a volunteer and service user, about the work the centre is carrying out with local homeless people in Preston.
Rebecca Bradshaw, a Director at Rotherham Taylor Limited, said: “I am delighted that we have been able to raise so much for a deserving local cause.
“The Foxton Centre makes a real difference to people locally here in Preston, which is why we nominated it as our charity of the year.
“I’d like to thank our clients and contacts who attended the coffee morning for their generosity, which will go towards improving the lives of people locally.”
Rotherham Taylor Limited has already made a difference for The Foxton Centre since announcing it as the firm’s charity of the year, having organising a hamper collection for the for the centre at Christmas.
More recently, members of team have taken part in a £5 for five days’ food and drink challenge in support of The Foxton Centre.
