New President of the BCC elected

At this week’s AGM, entrepreneur and business leader Baroness Martha Lane Fox CBE was elected as the British Chambers of Commerce new President.

Baroness Lane Fox will be succeeding Baroness Ruby McGregor-Smith CBE as President, whose two-year term has come to an end in accordance with the BCC Articles of Association.

Speaking at the AGM, BCC Chair, Sarah Howard MBE warmly welcomed Martha and thanked Ruby for her dedicated service to the BCC during challenging times for UK businesses
