A practical and informative resource network for HR professionals, currently focusing on the impact of the much publicised Employment Rights Act.

Membership includes access to priority events, discounted training and development as well as regular briefings to help you ensure that your business remains ahead of the curve.

The HR Xchange is organised in partnership with Harrison Drury’s Employment team, which consists of legal and HR experts.

It is a group for anyone who has responsibility for people in their organisation, no matter their level of experience. Whatever the industry, or point you are at in your career, you will understand the unique challenges that arise when you have responsibility for people, both legally and literally.

HR Xchange is arranged by the Chamber and chaired by Helen Russell (an experienced HR Consultant who is also a Solicitor) and supported by the broader Employment team at Harrison Drury.

Each quarter, the morning sessions will include an update on legal developments and an open discussion. Topics range far and wide and are flexible to allow for open debate, but we are always happy to hear if there is a subject you would particularly like the team to focus on.

The HR Xchange is designed to provide a safe space for people to openly discuss challenges they are facing in a rapidly changing legislative environment, and we regularly share stories and ideas with others who may have encountered similar situations.

Helen has 25 years’ practical, in-house experience, and has collaborated with Solicitors at Harrison Drury for the last 10 years, meaning that subjects are covered in a truly comprehensive manner. In addition, around the table there is a wealth of knowledge and experience to tap into; Chatham House rules apply, and this has allowed for many honest and fascinating debates.
