Viva Blackpool today announced the launch the Blackpool & Fylde Trade Awards – The BFTAs – a prestigious new awards schedule to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of individuals and businesses within the Trades industry.
The BFTAs will recognise excellence across several categories, including Apprentice of the Year, Tradesperson of the Year for Blackpool, Fylde and The Wyre and Women in Construction.
“Blackpool is going through a major transformation, and crucial to that transformation is skilled trades people. We created these awards to spotlight the exceptional talent and outstanding work happening in trades industry, in and around Blackpool,” said Martin Heywood, Co-founder, The Viva Group.
The awards are open to both entries and nominations, with a closing date of 27th April. The shortlist will be announced on the 4th of May, and the winners announced at a dazzling Awards Ceremony at Viva, on Friday 12th June.
