Given the many disruptions to business operations in light of COVID-19, and resulting questions on Force Majeure clauses in commercial contracts, the International Chamber of Commerce has shared this Guidance Paper on Force Majeure in Commercial Contracts.

This document outlines the general considerations to be taken into account for users involved in commercial contractual relations and complements the ICC’s revised Force Majeure clauses for 2020
