The highly anticipated launch of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce Global Xchange took place yesterday at Leyland Civic Centre.
Marking a significant milestone in fostering international collaboration and innovation within the global trading, logistics and freight sectors, the event brought together industry leaders, partners, and stakeholders from across the sector to celebrate the introduction of Global Xchange.
It’s a new, specifically focused network, designed to enhance connectivity, streamline operations, and unlock new opportunities for businesses operating on a global scale.
The Global Xchange aims to create a dynamic environment where organisations can collaborate, share expertise, and drive forward thinking solutions in an increasingly interconnected world.
The launch event featured presentations, networking opportunities, and insights into how the initiative will support growth and efficiency across international markets.
James Wood, Managing Director of Irish Freight Solutions, Global Xchange partners, commented on the launch:
“The introduction of Global Xchange represents a major step forward for our industry. By bringing together key players through this network, we are creating real opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth. It’s an exciting development that will help businesses like ours strengthen global partnerships and deliver even greater value to our customers.”
With its official launch now complete, Global Xchange is set to begin onboarding partners and rolling out its specialist support services, positioning itself as a key driver of progress within a global landscape.
Paul Walters, Head of International Trade at the Chamber, said: “We’re really pleased to have launched the Xchange, alongside our valued partners, Irish Freight Solutions. The Global Xchange has been created to foster strong collaborations between the Chamber, our partners, and global trading companies.
