What is the Global Innovation Forum (GIF)?
A gateway to the Japanese market, the GIF links global starts-up / innovators to Osaka businesses. Hosted by Osaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OCCI) & Osaka Business & Investment Centre (O-BIC) since 2019, the GIF provides the delegates the opportunity to participate in a series of events including:
An online exhibition – open all business all cross Japan
Virtual live pitches – with simultaneous interpretation to help Japanese companies understand.
Pre-arranged One to One Business Meetings with interpreters.
What does the GIF provide?

Over 30,000 OCCi members companies
Many global large companies, including corporate venture and open innovation businesses
More than 400 GIF community members who are seeking collaboration opportunities with global start-up, innovators.

Was there a charge to participate?
No, participation for successful applicants is in the exhibition is FREE, as is individual advisory and interpretation.
Plus the virtual pitch winner, chosen by the audience, will receive will receive an invitation to visit Osaka, including flight and hotel accommodation, travel restrictions permitting.
