Businesses and individuals across Lancashire are being encouraged to take advantage of the final funded delivery of the highly successful Skills Bootcamp in International Trade, with the last programme set to commence in January 2027.

Designed to equip learners with the practical knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in international trade, the 10-week programme offers expert-led training covering customs procedures, export documentation, compliance requirements and global market development.

With funding support available, this represents the final opportunity to access training worth approximately £3,000 per learner at a significantly reduced cost.

Who Should Attend?
The bootcamp is suitable for a wide range of learners, including those:
• Looking to progress within their current role
• Moving into an international trade position
• Considering a career change
• Running their own business and seeking international growth
• Returning to employment or currently unemployed

Places are now open for the January 2027 cohort.

Funding and Employer Contribution
The programme is heavily subsidised through external funding support.
Employer contributions are:

• £300 per participant for SMEs
• £900 per participant for larger organisations
To qualify, participants must either:
• Work for a Lancashire-based business, or
• Be resident in Lancashire
