What International Traders Need to Know About Temporary Exports
It is important to know the correct procedure to cover temporary exports, be they for overseas exhibitions, sending samples or, tools of the trade, outside the UK for a defined period.
Does your business manage temporary exports correctly? Do you show what information is required for a carnet?
The ATA Carnet system covers 87 Countries and are available through this Chamber. The responsibility of the exporter is to provide accurate information. Exporters should be aware of the procedural and financial obligations to obtain and retain necessary paperwork.
Here are the questions to ask.
- Do you send goods temporarily out of the UK?
- Do you want to cut down on the need for Export paperwork and declarations?
- Do you carry goods in your own transport?
- Do you know about Cabotage rules?
This webinar will help you understand these issues if you are sending goods temporarily abroad.
