Calling All Local Businesses and Suppliers
Meet The Buyer: Lancashire County Council
As part of an ongoing effort by the Chamber to strengthen Lancashire’s supply chain, we are putting our members directly in front of companies who are looking to use suppliers based in Lancashire.
The next ‘Meet the Buyer’ event will introduce members to Lancashire County Council
We are inviting SMEs, social enterprises, local businesses and community organisations based in Lancashire to attend our Meet the Buyer event including a live webinar and one to one in person sessions for key themes and topics. This exclusive event is designed to:
Promote procurement opportunities to SMEs and local organisations.
Increase SME participation in council contracts.
Provide practical guidance on bidding for public sector work.
Participating in the Chambers’ Meet the Buyer event with Lancashire County Council offers suppliers a unique opportunity to engage directly with public sector procurement teams, gain insights into upcoming contract opportunities, and better understand the Council’s procurement processes. For local businesses, this event fosters transparency, builds confidence in tendering, and encourages inclusive economic growth.
It aligns with Lancashire County Council’s mission to support a thriving local economy, promote sustainable development, and ensure public spending delivers maximum value for communities. By connecting suppliers with buyers, the Council strengthens its commitment to fairness, accessibility, and the empowerment of Lancashire-based enterprises.
