We are delighted to invite you to the latest Global Xchange in partnership Irish Freight Solutions.
Our Global Xchange is a forum designed to connect businesses involved in International Trade with policy makers and industry experts. We have invited speakers from a variety of backgrounds to facilitate an exchange of information and encourage exchange of insights navigating through regulations, and building strategic partnerships.
Each sessions will allow businesses to meet with national experts. global trade agencies, potential partners, and foreign delegates.
The Xchange will serve as a bridge between the corporate sector and government officials to discuss shifting trade policies, geopolitical risks, and digital economy growth.
We are delighted our Keynote speaker is William Bain, Head of Trade Policy at the British Chambers of Commerce.
William has worked for the last 8 years with a range of companies, from global retailers to SMEs to innovative start-ups, advising on EU exit and the Trade and Co-operation Agreement, the Windsor Framework and the UK’s trade and investment policies including with the USA.
Previously, William spent over ten years as an academic lawyer specialising in Constitutional and EU law, and 5 and a half years as an MP (Glasgow North East), including roles as Shadow Ministers for Defra, Transport and Scotland and membership of the Business, Innovation and Skills Select Committee.
The launch of digital carnets on 1st June 2026, will be a significant shift in international trade. This transition will replace traditional paper ATA Carnets with digital versions that can be presented via a QR code, streamlining customs procedures and reducing administrative burdens. Our International Trade team will introduce the changes and what it means for your next international trade journey.
Our sponsors Irish Freight Solutions will introduce their European services as well as discussing their experiences with ATA Carnets around Europe.
There will be opportunities for networking both before and after our speakers and we encourage companies to connect with like-minded exporters and importers to share best practices, discuss common industry challenges, and discover new business opportunities.
We look forward to seeing you on the day.
