To launch our new ATA Carnet service we are focusing on the do’s and don’ts when planning and visiting exhibitions. From the 1st January 2021, companies participating in International Trade Fairs or Exhibitions taking place in the EU and taking their exhibition stand are now considered temporary exports if you are planning to return with them in the same state as they were taking.
Exhibitions are a fantastic opportunity for many industries, providing ample reasons for both brand and customer to attend. From space rental and exhibition stands, to travel and promotional costs – the checklist for any trade show attendance can be epic, so it’s important that when you commit to going – you do it well and make the most of your time!
At today event we will investigate the various stages of exhibiting:
• What makes a good exhibition stand? – Increasing Exhibition Stand Visibility. You can easily achieve this by using high-level branding, eye-catching graphics with a clear brand message, and by thinking about the direction of visitor foot flow – which is another reason why knowing exactly where you are situated is so important.
• What is a Carnet – ATA Carnets can facilitate the temporary movement of those goods, and our team can help you! ATA Carnets last up to 12 months and are known as the ‘Passport for Goods’. Our Trade Team are now an authorised agent for issuing ATA carnets and can also help with indemnity guarantees if you do not have one in-house.
• Getting you goods on site – An exhibition logistics service ensures the delivery, movement and storage of your freight is done professionally. The right service ensures everything from venue permits to hiring forklifts and storage areas is taken care of, so you can focus on exhibiting and enjoying the event.
• What I learned as a first-time exhibitor
