The Employment Rights Act 2025 is the biggest shake-up to the UK workplaces in a generation. Are you confident that your organisation is compliant?
As an employer, you need to be aware that this Act is a game-changer.
Starting in April 2026, the era of the probationary period changes forever. Employees will be entitled to sick pay from day one, instant paternity and parental leave and increased job security (owing to the qualifying period for unfair dismissal plummeting).
There’s a lot more that you need to prepare for, including the severe restriction of “Fire and Rehire” as well as zero-hours rights, and guaranteed contracts on the horizon.
There is a lot of detail behind the headlines. But the Chamber, in association with partners Harrison Drury, is ready to guide you through the changes and make sure that your business is compliant and able to produce a practical plan.
Join us on Wednesday 15th April at Chamber Meeting Spaces, between 7.30am and 10.00am for a light breakfast and a deep dive in to the new Act.
You will be guided through the key measures in the Act, together with clear explanations of what is changing and when it takes effect.
