North and Western Lancashire Chamber International Trade Network is launching a series of online workshops on doing business around the world.
Our next event will introduce you to one of the Eastern Europe’s emerging markets – Bulgaria.
In association with the British Bulgarian Business Association, come join us for a market brief and learn more about the country’s economic and political status, its business environment, and partnership opportunities.
In just 30 minutes, we will show Bulgaria as the hot spot for business in the European Union. The country has much potential for business development, offering 3-4% pA GDP growth, a stable and predictable economic climate, flat 10% corporate and personal income tax, access to EU funding, and growing disposable income.
The low-cost base and availability of a skilled, multi-lingual workforce makes Bulgaria highly attractive as an investment destination. Starting a business with an office or through a partner is easy and cost-effective.
Additionally, Bulgaria has a very strong expat community, which has its role in creating a welcoming business atmosphere to newcomers from the UK, in paving the road for business development in Bulgaria.
Finally, we would like to introduce the role of our partners the British Bulgarian Business Association as a facilitator of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and the UK.
The presentation will be given by Tim Buisseret, Country Director for the UK’s Department for International Trade in Bulgaria, and Julian Mihov, Chair of the BBBA Trade Committee and PwC Client Development Leader for CEE.
After the presentation we will have a Q&A session. Please submit any questions you may have for our speakers in advance to export@lancschamber.co.uk
