Manchester Airport Group – Adam Jupp – Communications Director
Adam joined Manchester Airport in November 2016 to lead its external affairs work, before becoming the Director of communications in August 2020. Prior to joining the airport, Adam was an award-winning journalist, initially in his native Northeast and latterly as an associate editor at the Manchester Evening News, where his primary focus was business and regional affairs.
Virgin Atlantic Airways
Will discuss their forthcoming programme from Manchester and London and the importance of connectivity particularly across the Atlantic.
Department of International Trade
The Department for International Trade (DIT) helps businesses export, drives inward and outward investment, negotiates market access and trade deals, and champion’s free trade. DIT is responsible for promoting British trade across the world and ensuring the UK takes advantage of the huge opportunities open to us.
After the presentations you will have the opportunity to both network and explore LIDZ – Lancashire Innovation Drone Zone. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the facilities, and participate in some ‘flying’ activities on the aeroplane, helicopter, and drone simulators, you will also hear about the numerous benefits of drone technology for your business.
