Bluebird Care Chorley, Ormskirk and Leyland are a recently established home care provider who thrive on delivering exceptional person-centred care services to residents across West Lancashire, Chorley, and South Ribble.
The franchise’s story is a touching one. Set up earlier this year by Colin Bowers and Gerallt Evans-Hughes, the pair set out with a simple vision: to deliver an unrivalled quality of personalised care to people in their own homes. The idea was born out of the sad passing of Colin’s much-loved mother, June, after he cared for her in her final months in 2020. Bluebird Care Chorley, Ormskirk and Leyland is a tribute to June, and serves her memory well.
Bluebird Care Chorley, Ormskirk, and Leyland’s services support customers to maintain their chosen lifestyle and have the freedom to receive care within the comfort of their own homes. Domiciliary care, companionship, night and respite treatment and end-of-life support are all available, along with specialist dementia and Alzheimer’s disease care. Live-in care will also be available for customers in the future.
The provider is also part of Bluebird Care’s prestigious network of over 200 offices across the country, who have developed an enviable reputation for delivering exceptional care. Fundamental values of the business ensure that all Care Assistants feel valued, respected and supported. All staff are also provided with regular training to further develop their Continuing Professional Development.
The Lancashire based franchise has secured the appointment of a highly experienced and skilled Registered Manager, Melissa Morgan, who helped secure the franchise’s registration with the CQC in June this year. Melissa has experience in the Care Sector at a senior level, and alongside Colin and Gerallt, makes up a leadership team with strong ties to the Lancashire region.
The franchise’s customer base is rapidly expanding. Although only recently registered with the CQC, the franchise is already delivering high quality, personalised, and tailored care to its customers. Given the high demand for these services they are actively undergoing a recruitment drive for high calibre Care Assistants to join the growing Chorley, Ormskirk and Leyland team.
Colin Bowers, Director of Bluebird Care Chorley, Ormskirk and Leyland, said:
“Building a home care franchise amid a global pandemic poses obvious difficulties, but we have got off to a fantastic start. Now more than ever, customers and their families want the reassurance they are receiving high quality, personalised and specific care, when they want it and where they want it.
“I look forward to developing the office across the entire region, in my late mother June’s memory”.
Fellow Director Gerallt Evans-Hughes added:
“We’re in a very good place having been founded earlier this year, but the hard work must continue if we are to grow and maximise our potential across the region. We’re looking to build strong foundations with a team of attentive, skilful, and passionate Care Assistants driven to providing high quality care to each customer.
“We are excited and looking forward to developing relationships with local charities and third sector organisations, along with other businesses across the region. We will aim to continue on our journey of delivering exceptional home care services to local residents. As we look to expand the franchise further with an increase in staff and customers, we are committed to being a socially responsible, active and productive care provider within our community.”
