The Lancashire Armed Forces Covenant Hub is supporting the publishers, My Business Client (MBC), to produce a new guide and directory. It is hoped that businesses and organisations will take this opportunity to sponsor this important new guide and promote their support for our Lancashire Armed Forces community, including our local veterans, Regular and Reserve Forces, cadets and all their immediate family members. Based on census data from 2021 this community alone is estimated at 124,000, without all the wider friends and family of those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces

All fifteen Lancashire councils are collaborating to produce a Lancashire Armed Forces Covenant Guide for 2022-23. The guide will raise the profile and awareness of the Armed Forces Covenant in our area and will be available as a high quality A4 print version along with a web based and digital version. We aim to launch the guide during this year’s Remembrance period in November.

The guide will provide editorial space for all Lancashire councils, as well as those organisations and charities who support our armed forces community in the region. The guide will also include a dedicated directory of contacts for those who support the forces and their dependants with Transition, Mental Health, Housing and Homelessness, Debts, Welfare Benefits, Advocacy and Social Activities. As well as being distributed by the Hub and all Lancashire councils, it will be available on the Lancashire Covenant Hub webpage (www.lancashire.gov.uk/armed-forces) and all council websites.
