The UK’s fastest growing R&D tax specialist has been shortlisted for five business awards; recognising the company’s success over the last 12 months.
Chamber Patron Members, Access2Funding, has been nominated in for the ‘Growing Business Award’,  and ‘Women in Finance Award’, in two seperate awards competitions.  The awards honour the UK’s most outstanding entrepreneurs and high-growth businesses and Access2Funding is a finalist in the ‘B2B Business of the Year’ category.
Access2Funding’s CEO Dawn Coker is a finalist in a ‘2021 Business Woman of the Year’ category, at an awards competition, specifically for female entrepreneurs.  The Women in Finance Awards 2021 promote the importance of an inclusive finance sector and Access2Funding is a finalist in the ‘Employer of the Year up to 250’ category.
In the Manchester-based awards, Access2Funding is a finalist in the ‘Financial Services Firm of the Year 2021’ category.
Finally, the tax specialist is a finalist in the for ‘Employer of the Year 2021’ and ‘Business of the Year 2021’ categories in a Liverpool-based competition, highlighting the significant contribution the company has made to economic growth in the city region.

 Access2Funding helped hundreds of businesses in 2020 claim back thousands of pounds in R&D tax credits from HMRC – money that they rightly deserved for their innovative projects. For many businesses, this money provided a lifeline, enabling them to keep their doors open through the COVID-19 pandemic and for others, enabled them to invest back into their businesses or employ more people.”
 Access2Funding more than quadrupled its workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic and increased its turnover by 119% year on year.
The winners of the five awards will be announced later in the year, with the first award ceremony taking place on in Manchester this month, followed by the a ceremony in Blackpool at the ends of September.
