Demystifying ICS2 & ELO – what exporters to the EU/NI need to know

If you ship goods into the EU via rail, road or sea transport, then you will be affected by the up and coming ICS2 deployment. ICS2 (Import Control System 2) is a pre-arrival IT security system set to increase EU border security by facilitating additional imports data to be submitted to a centralised EU system. Hauliers will need to provide additional information when submitting their Entry Summary Declaration.
