Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) could gain a performance boost following a one-off seminar next month.
The event is staged by Moore and Smalley, one of the Chamber’s centenary patrons, and takes place on 23rd February (9am-11am) at Fylde House, Amy Johnson Way, FY4 3RS.
It is aimed at firms with an income of less than £1m and is aimed at business owners, finance managers and company secretaries.
Four main areas will be discussed: an update on the impact of FRS 102 and 105; how companies can minimise their tax liability; preparing for auto-enrolment; and an introduction and demonstration of SE+.
That latter is a cloud-based system that provides business owners with better financial and business management information to assist with decision making and bank reporting – as well as freeing up more time to run the business.
A spokesman said: “Regulations and financial requirements for businesses are ever-changing.
“The need to comply with governmental standards, yet stay in control of the businesses’ performance and profitability appears to be a widely recognisable concern.”
The seminar is free to attend with registration and refreshments at 9am and the presentations starting at 9.30am before the scheduled conclusion 90 minutes later.
Places are limited but can be reserved by phoning Sadie Riley on 01253 404404 or emailing sadie.riley@mooreandsmalley.co.uk
