April 18, 2018 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
Good project management is essential for projects to be delivered on time, within budget, and at the requested quality with desired specifications. So a good project manager must be able to understand the project well, develop a feasible plan that meets requirements, and effectively manage people completing a range of tasks. This full-day course will help you accomplish exactly that.
Effectively liaise with clients and colleagues working on your project to develop and oversee a realistic plan that you put together. Examine case studies, engage in discussions and interactive exercises, and focus on both project planning and the ongoing management aspects of your projects.
Delegates are encouraged to focus on a specific project that they are currently working on (or soon will be), so that by the end of the day they will be confident in managing a project from the “real” world. This approach will provide additional relevance to all aspects of the training and you will be working while you are learning!
By the end of this half-day, delegates will:
- Understand the different phases of project management.
- Be confident in outlining project definitions.
- Be able to develop project plans.
- Be confident in identifying and resolving issues on ongoing projets.
This course provides a road map for getting the job done right – on time and under budget! By incorporating case studies, discussions, interactive exercises, and techniques for organising teams, tasks, and timelines, this one-day course will provide delegates with a solid foundation. Whether you are new to project management or an experienced project managers looking for a “top-up” this course will focus on establishing proper project planning, maintenance via ongoing management, and execution of your project plan.
