April 28, 2017 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
Good project management is essential for projects to be delivered on time, within budget, and at the requested quality with desired specifications. So a good project manager must be able to understand the project well, develop a feasible plan that meets requirements, and effectively manage people completing a range of tasks.
This specific set of skills will be gained through this workshop: Effectively liaise with clients and colleagues working on your project to develop and oversee a realistic plan that you put together.
This half day course includes case studies, discussions, and interactive exercises and will focus on both project planning and the ongoing management aspects of the project.
Delegates are encouraged to focus on a specific project that they are currently working on (or soon will be), so that by the end of the day they will be confident in managing a project from the “real” world.
By the end of this half-day, delegates will:
• Understand the different phases of project management.
• Be confident in outlining project definitions.
• Be able to develop project plans.
• Be confident in identifying and resolving issues on ongoing projets.
Project management can be quite complex, this course will provide solid foundations for professionals who are either new to project management or have attempted it using a ‘common sense’ approach.
