Metalearning : Retention of Information Course

This retention of information course is designed to upskill delegate learning and retention skills whether reading articles, textbooks, or technical manuals, and/or verbal presentations, meetings, or lectures resulting in proper (and more permanent) comprehension and data recall for use in business and social settings.

Key outcomes

• Improved reading speed, comprehension and understanding of acquiring information through text.
• Improved capacity to store, remember and recall names of people, places and things- essential for networking and forming quality relationships with clients.
• Improved ability to remember numerical data- essential for the modern world of passwords, bank account numbers, sort codes, pin codes and encrypted files.

By applying the principles of “Metalearning” delegates on this retention of information course will achieve a higher level of ability to learn and use information whether text, visual and/or numerical.

Delegates will be taken through practical exercises involving self-assessment of skills, role play for networking and relationship building and “virtual” business, educational and personal scenarios in order to contextualise learning, i.e. learning how to remember a client’s phone number of team member names.

Participants on this retention of information session will enjoy this course which is delivered in an upbeat, informal, positive manner and will emerge confident and enthusiastic to practise, apply and improve their skills in both their professional and personal lives.
