Chamber member Michael Cropper, founder of Contrado Digital, has recently launched a nationwide job service in the UK which links employers directly with job hunters. It is already gaining traction among employers and job hunters alike after launching 4 months ago!
Michael’s recruitment platform, which is called Tendo Jobs is free for employers to use up to 3 job vacancies, which has drawn registered employers like Sky, Hays Travel, Age UK, The Hut Group, WERU Group and many more. Not bad for 4 months!
Tendo Jobs is an offshoot from Cropper’s Blackburn based digital agency Contrado Digital through wanting to solve what he perceives as an ineffective connection point between employer and employees, both of which comprise 1.6 million job-related searches monthly!
The technology Michael uses actually links employers directly with job hunters through their JobRank algorithm generating a personalised Jobs Feed for job hunters and then an ApplicantRank algorithm which prioritises the best applicants. Big things on the horizon for Michael Cropper of Contrado Digital!
Michael had this to say regarding his latest endeavour:
“It’s amazing to see how quickly TendoJobs.com has spread throughout the UK .The feedback we’ve received from users of the platform has been extremely positive. Tendo Jobs is being seen as a breath of fresh air for both employers and job hunters by simplifying the entire recruitment process…”
Because of his expertise, we’ve asked Michael to present a course for us that trains our members how to properly secure their business websites to protect against the outbreak of “company data hostage” hacks and potential data loss due to in-house mishandling. “Cyber Securing Your Business” takes place 30th September at our Blackpool Training Centre.
