Funded Business Support: Chamber offers places on Government-backed Peer Networks programme from Boost

Your Chamber is to deliver two exciting new projects, funded via Boost and the Government.

Applications are now open to secure fully funded places on one of the programmes, due to start imminently.

If your business meets the criteria, your place will be free to charge.

Programme one – Fight or Fly

The Fight & Fly Programme will be facilitated by cross-sector experts, with real-life business experience. Through 9 x 2 hours online interactive-learning framework sessions and a private half day one-to-one meeting, participants will be in a strong position to protect their business now and then to succeed, going forward into the future.

Each participant will also receive a private half-day consultancy session with experts, which will culminate with a set of action points for your business.

We’ll use a team of multi-skilled experts with real-life, cross- sector business experience to deliver the programme.  They’ll help owners and managers to build valuable businesses. They work right across the SME sector and have a deep understanding of the challenges businesses  face.

Programme Two – Business International

January 2021 will see us enter a new world of trading in particular with our European neighbours,  – our sessions will encourage a wide range of discussion with a leaning towards international trade.  In particular the implications that Brexit may have on your organisations and others in our region.  Participants will also have the opportunity to influence the agenda.

Through 9 x 2hour virtual sessions, with our experienced facilitator, participants will discuss areas where they need support and be assisted in implementing business-focused solutions via discussions with peers.

Peer Networks, which is being funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and led locally by Boost; Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub, will bring together business leaders to collaborate and overcome key common issues in a structured way.

The fully-funded scheme is available to Lancashire businesses more than a year old employing more than five people, with a turnover of more than £100,000 and an appetite to improve.

It aims to help SMEs build resilience against a challenging economic backdrop, develop in-house capabilities and grow.

See the Boost Video Story for more information on the wider scheme.

To secure your fully-funded place on ‘Fight or Fly’ or ‘Business International’, email membership@lancschamber.co.uk – places are extremely limited and in high demand.
