Why should I consider Thailand

Thailand is worth considering because it offers a combination of market size, economic growth, and access to the wider ASEAN region.   Thailand is the second-largest economy in Southeast Asia and UK-Thailand trade is already worth around £5.9 billion annually. The Thai middle class is expected to grow significantly, increasing demand for imported products and services.
Thailand's central location makes it an excellent distribution hub for the wider ASEAN market of over 600 million people. Many international companies use Thailand as a base to serve neighbouring markets such as Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.

The UK and Thailand signed an Enhanced Trade Partnership (ETP) in September 2024 to strengthen bilateral trade and investment and remove barriers affecting exporters. The agreement covers sectors including automotive, digital, education, food and drink, healthcare and financial services.
 

Who at the British Chamber in Thailand.

British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT). is the main British business organisation in Thailand. It was established in 1946 and is recognised as the oldest foreign chamber in Thailand, as well as the largest British Chamber in Asia.
