We are delighted to invite you to the latest Global Xchange in partnership Irish Freight Solutions.
What is the Global Xchange.
Our Global Xchange is a forum designed to connect businesses involved in International Trade with policy makers and industry experts. We have invited speakers from a variety of backgrounds to facilitate an exchange of information and encourage exchange of insights navigating through regulations, and building strategic partnerships.
Each session will allow businesses to meet with national experts. global trade agencies, potential partners, and foreign delegates.
The Xchange will serve as a bridge between the corporate sector and government officials to discuss shifting trade policies, geopolitical risks, and digital economy growth.
Trading with Indonesia.
We are delighted to have two speakers who are specialists in their sector/region.
Indonesia – Mr. Chris Wren – Chris is the former Chief Executive of the British Chamber in Indonesia for 17 years. He founded P.T. Limitless to aid and assist British SME’s and offer a reliable bridge into the Indonesian market.
UK companies should consider Indonesia as an export market as it is Southeast Asia’s largest economy with over $3.9 billion in bilateral trade, a population exceeding 280 million, and projections to become one of the top global economies by 2050.
Indonesia’s vast scale creates space for a wide range of overseas players, but success depends on clarity of value proposition and a carefully planned execution model.
Opportunities are greatest where international firms bring products and capabilities that are scarce domestically, support productivity gains, enable compliance or help Indonesian companies to move up the value chain.
Understanding EU regulations.
Europe – Mr. Artur Sarkisian – International Business Director – R.M. Boulanger. Since 1981, RM Boulanger (RMB), have been a leader in tax representation, helping businesses comply with EU tax regulations. They facilitate the international expansion of non-European companies without the need for a physical presence by managing VAT registration and filings, compliance with the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), eco-contributions, excise duties, posting of worker.
Tax in International Trade.
U.K. – Mr. James Davies – Tax Director – MHA Moore & Smalley, MHA is the UK member of Baker Tilly International, a network of dynamic independent accountancy firms with a global footprint..
Todays sponsors.
Our sponsors Irish Freight Solutions will also discuss the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and how it affects the movement of goods creates additional compliance requirements for supply chains. They will be joined by their specialist partner Steve Finnegan from PNZ Advisory,
There will be opportunities for networking both before and after our speakers and we encourage companies to connect with like-minded exporters and importers to share best practices, discuss common industry challenges, and discover new business opportunities.
We look forward to seeing you on the day.
