NWL Chamber member Bleep UK PLC, the Lancashire based designer, manufacturer and supplier of touch screen EPOS systems, this week announced that they have secured the contract for the EPOS systems at the in venue retail stores for the Rio 2016 Olympics.
The Bleep EPOS system is being installed from May onwards in the official merchandise stores in Rio and 3 other cities in Brazil, covering 80 sites, across 37 venues and the event runs from the 5th to the 21st August 2016. The stores will be selling a range of products and merchandise to visitors from across the globe, such as cuddly versions of the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralymipic mascots Vinicius and Tom, pin badges, mugs, magnets, towels, shirts, caps and more.
Bleep secured this prestigious contract largely on the back of the success they had at the London 2012 Olympic Games, but also after supplying a number of world class events and stadia over the past four years, including the FIFA 2014 World Cup, the Open Championship, the Rugby World Cup 2015, the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and then, later in the summer, UEFA EURO 2016.
