A Lancashire business strategy expert received an early Christmas present with a weekend trip to Geneva after helping one of her clients significantly boost their growth.
Business growth specialist Andrea Wallace from Sterling Simplicity has been working with local telecoms provider Abbey Telecom to increase sales conversion rates and uptake of its lines and minutes packages.
In recognition of the contribution she has made to his firm, Abbey managing director Tony Raynor invited Andrea as his guest of honour to this year’s Christmas party in Switzerland (pictured).
“It’s always nice to get positive feedback for your work and being asked to join the Abbey Telecom team’s Christmas party in Geneva was a really lovely surprise,” she said.
“Working with Tony’s team is a lot of fun, and our progress has resulted in him recommending me to several business contacts. Winning new business by referrals and customer recommendation like this is ideal.”
Abbey Telecom first started working with Andrea in 2012 with a remit to widen its local provision of telephone systems and calls, lines and minutes packages.
Mr Raynor added: “Andrea’s work with us over the last few years has been invaluable. We came within a cat’s whisker of attaining 20 per cent in growth in 2014 by tapping into her strategic expertise and we’re on course to repeat that in 2015.
“Working with her has helped improve several facets of our business, giving us the chance to adopt new marketing techniques and different approaches to sales.
“It’s always useful for someone to come in and look forensically at your business with a fresh pair of eyes.
“Creative ideas often result as an independent view can question or add to existing strategies, as well as coming up with innovative new methods.”
