Membership
is open to any business, irrespective of size. Our 1200 members range from the largest companies to the smallest retail and professional operation. Together they provide well over half the private sector jobs in the area.
Chambers of Commerce
comprise the worlds most extensive business support organisation. In many countries Chambers of Commerce are recognised by statute and no business may trade without being a member of its local chamber. In the UK, membership is voluntary, but the North & Western Lancashire Chamber, as part of the British Chambers of Commerce, are prominent members of the world wide movement.

The North & Western Lancashire Chamber
of Commerce was founded over 80 years ago for the purpose of watching over and protecting our local trade interests. We now cover the whole range of industry and commerce.
Whether your organisation
is simply exploring potential revenue generating ideas or is taking positive steps to improve performance, contacting the Chamber will provide you with the support and assistance required.
The Chamber provides
an effective vehicle for representing the views of the business community to local and national government and other public bodies, and, through its permanent staff, provides a wide range of member driven services designed to help members in their day to day business operations.
