Credit Reports

Credit Reports

are invaluable in assessing the financial stability of your customers, suppliers and competitors. Being able to make in informed decision before offering credit or account facilities could mean a difference between prompt payment and non-payment.

There are a variety of reports available from the basic “snap-shot” up to “full financials” of the company in question.

Examples of the information contained within the Chamber’s credit report can be viewed below.

Company Summary

Research has shown that to make an instant credit decision, customers need a snap shot overview of the company, and its ratings. Our company summary gives you just this. It includes company details, address, rating and limit, directorships and an overview of key financial trends in an easy to understand 'traffic light' system.

Company Information

This page provides you with key information about the company, the industry it works in, its registered and trading addresses, incorporation date, mortgage charges and shareholder details.

Accounts

For full information on the financial status of a company, you need to see examples of their accounting. The profit and loss, balance sheet, capital and reserves and key ratios can all be viewed as part of the report. This information can be used effectively by first time users and finance professionals alike.

Rating & Limit

Arguably one of the most popular pages within our report. The rating and limit page gives users an easy to understand credit rating using a scale of 0-100 in conjunction with a colour indication of red, amber or green. The credit limit is calculated using a series of algorithms, taking into account many key ratios and financial stability, giving you a guide to the amount of monthly credit you could offer to the company.

CCJ's

County Court Judgments can detail previous bad credit and non-payments. Our reports display the CCJ's which are still active, the value of the CCJ's and the number of writs lodged against the company.

Group Structure

To fully understand a company, it is vital to check its group structure. This illustrates clearly if there are any holding companies, partnerships or parent companies.
