Meet The Buyer: Buyer and Organisation TBC
May 25, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm
Are you looking to represent your sector as a supplier to a major public organisation or private corporation? Are you a Chamber Member? If so, the Chamber is looking to connect you to those organisations that are looking to purchase your goods and services!
As part of an ongoing effort by the NWL Chamber of Commerce to promote and support business in the Lancashire area, we are putting our members in front of companies to sell their goods and services in such a way that they might not be able to accomplish themselves or possibly event where to start in the process.
Many large corporations and businesses are looking to strengthen their supplier sources and have a directive to increase domestic purchasing. As a result, they want to meet with local businesses, small or medium-sized (SME), social enterprises, voluntary or community organisations with new and innovative solutions and are passionate about delivering added social value to the UK. The fundamental objectives of these appointments are:
- To help suppliers achieve a better understanding of how ‘Procurement’ works.
- To enable businesses to be in the best position to compete for local authority contracts
- To help the corporation of organisation understand your needs and how they can help to meet these
Because of the high demand for to meet with our supplied buyers, and the limited spaces available during the short time the buyers are here, we often book these events out entirely and sometimes must turn members away. It is for this reason that we recommend that you reserve your place early.
